October 6th 2021

EME expeditions SV5/HB9COG and KB7Q.

With SV5/HB9COG expedition, QSOs were made on 9, 6, 3 and 23 cm, all bands on CW and digi. The 9, 6 and 3 cm QSOs were the first with OK. Gene KB7Q visited WY and NE on 23 cm, we worked both states on CW and digi. Later NE on 70 cm only on digi.

 

September 29th 2021

EME expedition SV5/HB9COG on 13 cm.

Night from 28th to 29th September EME expedition SV5/HB9COG worked 13 cm. We managed to make both digi and CW QSOs. The digi QSO was the first SV5-OK contact on 13 cm. In the morning the operate W2HRO as a new initial.

ARI Trophy EME contest

We participated in the autumn part of ARI EME contest on 23 cm. We managed to make 65 QSOs of which 29 on CW and 36 with digi. 7 CW and 6 digital Italian multipliers were worked. After filling in the 1's in the respective boxes the logbook counted 3040 points. New stations are on digi DF2VJ and RA4AV #436.

 

August 29th 2021

MW Activity Weekend on 6 cm and TX7EME expedition on 23 cm.

We managed to work with only 2 stations on Saturday in MW AW on 6 cm. In the second orbit we switched from the empty 6 cm band to 23 cm. Here we worked with EME expedition TX7EME on 23 cm before moonset. This is the first TX-OK contact on this band.

 

August 9th 2021

New DXCC on 23 cm

Vlada made QSO with FG8OJ on 23 cm today as the first OK-FG contact after a failed test on Sunday. Burt used a 1.9 m dish and 8 W.

New DXCC on 6 cm

Vlada OK1DAK made QSO with CX2SC on 6 cm. Ric used a 1.8 m offset dish and 20 W power.

MW Activity Weekend on 13 cm

The 13 cm AW was conducted with minimal station participation. We worked on JT with 4X1AJ and CW with K2UYH and G3LTF. On Sunday we left the empty 13 cm band and made new stations KD5CHG, IK2DDR and N0CTR #428 on JT on 23 cm.

Microwave Activity Weekend on 9 cm

This weekend there was a MW AW on 9 cm at the time of the grounding. 12 stations participated. New stations on digi are DL4DTU and GM4PMK #44 and new digi DXCC. We only listened to the CW test of DL2LAC 559.

 

June 14th 2021

The last part EU DUBUS EME Contest on 6 cm

In the last part of the European EME Dubus contest on 6 cm 32 QSOs were made. New station is DL4DTU. The result is 32x28. The total result after six parts is 356x206.

23 cm part of the European Dubus EME contest

We took part in the European Dubus 23 cm contest last weekend. 89 QSOs out of 75 multipliers were established. The new stations are DF2VJ, IK2DDR, IK7UXW and WB8HRW. Outside the contest, we have been decoded on Q65-60C by FG8OJ -18 and N0QZ -13. Unfortunately, we did not decode their small power signal.

 

April 25th 2021

KB7Q expedition on 23 cm

We worked with the EME expedition KB7Q on 23 cm from MS, AL and KY on CW and digi. With these QSOs we have reached 49 US states. The last US state we miss is WV.

3 cm part of European DUBUS contest

On the Friday before the contest, we worked on 23 cm CW and JT with the KB7Q expedition to Arkansas. It is our 46th US state on 23 cm. The 3 cm part of the contest took place in poor propagation conditions. 41 QSOs were established. The new stations are only OZ6OL and F5HRY. At 24 GHz, because of the large spread no CW QSO in the contest was established. 7 QSOs were successful with the new Q65-60E mode. The new JT stations are PA7JB, RA3EME and VE4MA.

 

March 29th 2021

Days of MW Activity

During the weekend MW Says of Activity, we established QSOs with these new stations; CW on 3 cm IK6CAK and CT1BYM, with new mode Q65-60D IZ4BFA, 0N4BHM and CX2SC from GF25. ON4BH used 3.7 m dish and 3.5 W power. 3B8DU only listened us with a 3 m home-made dish. The 15 W transmitter does not work for him yet. On Saturday night we QSY to 23 cm where we worked new CW initials DL1AT and KB7Q, JT65C YO5BIN, DK1KW and KB7Q which is on expediton in New Mexico from DM52 field.

9 cm parf of the Dubus EME contest 2021

In the March 9 cm part of the EME DUBUS contest in winter weather, 24 QSOs with 20 multipliers were made. The only new CW station is DL4DTU. Outside the contest on JT we operated two new stations G4DDK and VE4MA. On the Friday before the contest, CW QSOs with LA1TN and DU3T were successfully completed on 23 cm. DU3T is new CW DXCC and PK field. Other new stations on JT are RA9FLW, EW7CC, KB7Q expedition from DM23 and KB2SA.

 

February 21st 2021

70 cm part of European DUBUS contest 2021

The February part of the EME DUBUS contest on 70 cm took place in the near vicinity with the restriction of night movement. We managed to establish 21 QSOs and the result is 21x21. Only one station is the new CW initial. Outside the race, on JT we managed to work 5 new stations and one new JT DXCC. On Sunday, we ended our participation at 17 UT.

 

February 1st 2021

VP8EME on 70 cm

We managed to work on JT with five new stations on 70 cm during tonight. Of these, the GI6ATZ and VP8EME are the new JT DXCC. VP8EME is the first VP8-OK QSO on 70 cm. We listened to the VE3IKU 569 beacon at 2304.020 MHz on 13 cm in the morning.

13 cm part of European DUBUS contest 2021

In the first part of this year's Dubus EME contest on 13 cm, we managed to establish 26 CW QSOs. The result is 26x24.

Pre-Christmas visit to the EME site.

During a short visit to our EME site, we managed to work HS0ZOP on JT65B on 70 cm. It is the first 70 cm HS-OK QSO. Operator Alex used 4x Yagi and 500 W power.

Operation on St. Nicholas day

On Saturday morning, we worked on 23 cm KB7Q with his expedition rig on CW and JT. We spent the orbit from Saturday to Sunday on 70 cm where we managed to work 20 new stations on JT. Of which ZL3AAD is our new 70 cm JT ODX 18094 km (RE68LV) and first HI-OK QSO with HI8DL. Operator David used an M2 Yagi antenna 9 lambda long and 75 W power.
